At Desert Safari Experts, we strive to make your booking experience as smooth and transparent as possible. This Booking Policy outlines everything you need to know about making a reservation, payment options, cancellations, amendments, and our group booking terms.

By booking with us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy, as well as our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Important: Desert Safari Experts is a booking and tourism consultancy platform. The actual buggy adventures and desert safari activities are delivered by licensed third-party tour operators. By booking through us, you agree that Desert Safari Experts acts as an intermediary. The specific cancellation, payment, safety, and age requirements of the third-party operator may apply to your experience and may differ from the general terms stated below. We will communicate any operator-specific terms to you at the time of booking.

How to Book

Online Booking

You can book directly through our website by selecting your preferred experience and completing the booking form. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Please note that actual date and time availability is confirmed upon our response; we will work with you to find the best available slot.

Phone & WhatsApp Booking

Prefer to speak with someone? Contact us via phone or WhatsApp at +971 54 155 8246. Our team is available daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (UAE time) to assist with your booking.

Email Booking

You can also email us at inquiry@dubaisafariexperts.com with your preferred date, time, group size, and any special requests. We will respond within 12 hours.

Payment Options

We offer the following payment methods. Please confirm availability with our team at the time of booking:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted for most bookings. Payments are processed securely through our PCI-compliant payment partners. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
  • Bank Transfer: For larger group bookings or corporate clients, we accept direct bank transfers. Please contact us for account details.
  • Cash on Arrival: For selected experiences, you may pay in cash (AED) at the start of your activity. Please confirm eligibility at the time of booking as not all operators accept cash payments.
  • Deposit + Balance: Some packages require a deposit at booking, with the balance payable on arrival. This will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

Note: All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED). Prices are confirmed at the time of booking and will not change for your confirmed reservation. Payment methods may vary by tour operator; we will confirm accepted methods for your specific booking.

Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation terms apply to bookings made through Desert Safari Experts. Please note that the specific tour operator may have different cancellation policies; we will communicate any operator-specific terms to you at the time of booking.

  • More than 48 hours before scheduled experience: Full refund minus a 10% administrative processing fee.
  • Between 24 and 48 hours before scheduled experience: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before scheduled experience: No refund.
  • No-shows: No refund.

Cancellation by Us: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your experience due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or operational issues, we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Refund Processing: Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days and will be credited to the original payment method.

Important: Some tour operators may have stricter cancellation policies. We will inform you of any such terms before you confirm your booking.

Amendments & Rescheduling

Need to change your booking date or time? We're happy to accommodate subject to availability:

  • Free amendments: Changes made more than 24 hours before your scheduled experience are free of charge.
  • Last-minute changes: Amendments made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time may incur a 20% rescheduling fee.
  • Group size changes: If you need to reduce your group size, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Refunds for reduced participants follow our standard cancellation policy.

Group Bookings

Planning a group adventure? We welcome groups of all sizes:

  • Small groups (2–8 people): Book directly through our website or contact us for availability.
  • Large groups (9+ people): Please contact us for a customized quote. We offer discounted rates for larger groups.
  • Corporate & team-building events: We can arrange exclusive experiences with dedicated guides. Contact our corporate team for a tailored package.
  • Deposit for large groups: A deposit of 30% may be required at the time of booking for groups of 10 or more.

Pro Tip: For groups of 6 or more, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance to ensure availability of your preferred vehicles and time slots.

Check-In & Arrival

  • Arrival time: Please arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before your scheduled experience for check-in, safety briefing, and gear fitting.
  • Late arrivals: If you are running late, please notify us immediately. Late arrivals may result in a reduced experience time or, in some cases, cancellation without refund.
  • Meeting point & pickup: The exact meeting point will be provided in your confirmation email. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are available for select packages and may be subject to additional charges. Please confirm pickup availability and any associated fees at the time of booking.

Age, Driving & Safety Requirements

Age and eligibility requirements may vary depending on the selected vehicle, package, and tour operator. The following are general guidelines; specific terms will be confirmed at the time of booking:

  • Driving age: Drivers must meet the minimum age requirement specified for the selected vehicle. This is typically 18 years or older, but may vary by operator and buggy model.
  • Passenger age: Minimum passenger age requirements vary by vehicle and operator. Please check with our team when booking.
  • Driving licence: A driving licence is generally not required for off-road dune buggy experiences. However, participants must follow the guide's instructions and operator safety requirements.
  • Health & safety: Participants must be in good physical health. Pregnant women, individuals with back/neck problems, or serious medical conditions are advised not to participate. All participants must wear the safety gear provided (helmet, goggles, gloves) at all times during the experience.
  • Alcohol & drugs: No alcohol or drugs are permitted before or during the experience. We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone under the influence.

Is there a minimum age requirement for passengers?

Passenger age requirements vary by vehicle and operator. Generally, children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. Please confirm with our team when booking.

What if the weather is bad?

Your safety is our priority. If weather conditions are unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund.

Can I bring my own camera or phone?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your camera or phone. However, we recommend using a secure strap or case as the desert environment can be dusty and bumpy. We are not responsible for any damage to personal items.

Is hotel pickup included?

Hotel pickup and drop-off are available for select packages and may be subject to additional charges. Please confirm pickup availability and any associated fees at the time of booking.
